MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE
The Chief Executive takes executive responsibility for operational management, service delivery and strategic issues of the FDA Ghana.
The office of the Chief Executive consists of the Internal Audit, Business Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Finance, Centre for Import and Export Control, Centre for Laboratory Services and Research and Regional Offices.
Under the Chief Executive are four Specialised Divisions, namely; Food Division, Health Products and Technologies Division, Technical Operations, and Corporate Services Division.
THE FDA MISSION
The FDA exist to ensure the safety, quality and efficacy of human and veterinary drugs, food, biological products, cosmetics, medical devices, household chemical substances and clinical trials, and the control of tobacco products through the enforcement of relevant standards to protect public health.
